Special Arrangements for Christmas Orders

Well here we are again. Its been a strange year for us all and we have missed welcoming all of our lovely customers to the farm.  Never fear though Christmas at Wysipig is up and running we are ready to take your orders to make sure the seasonal celebrations are certain to be the usual to success. 

It is time to make sure that you have all your Christmas requirments in the book. Why not give us a call.  Kevin is ready to take your orders for turkey, gammon, bacon and some of Kevin's lovely sausages ( the sage and onion and chestnut flavour is simply delicious!!!).  This year Kevin is packing trays (8 per tray) of his signature Pigs in Blankets. We will have vegetables from Sunday 20th December.

We will once again be  bringing deliveries to your door but this year we will do this on the timed basis, arrangements will be made in advance and we will place your order on your doorstep so as to avoid contact. you can also visit the shop to collect your order but special arrangements will be made thereto and only one customer will be allowed into the premises at a time, again we are hoping to make timed collection arrangements so as not to overwhelm Kevin on the day. Collections and deliveries will take place from 21st December.

Payment arrangements - Customers are asked to make payments by BACS  (  in addition other payment arrangements are currently being put in place) details of payment methods will be given to customers as we confirm their orders.

Visitors to the shop are asked to observe our Covid19 rules and ensure that they use the sanitisers provided.

Although we have not been able to provide our usual popular sit down breakfast, teas and cakes since the start of the crisis we will however be keeping up with the Christmas spirit and offering takeaway  teas, coffees, hot chocolate and mince pies throughout December. Just ring the bell and will get them ready for you and bring them out alternatively you can call Kevin and you have them ready for you when you get there. 

 Now for the really good news, all of our prices have been held over from 2019. although cost of gone up we have decided that we all have to do work together and we have not applied any increases at all. We really appreciate everyones support
  

We are open from Wednesday to Saturday every week. Also Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before Christmas.

Update for Customers April 9th

Hello to all our Customers and Current Update.

This weekend we should have been welcoming all our customers and friends to our regular 'special' day which this month coincides with Easter. However none of us expected the world to change as it has and therefore sadly we won't be able to share a cup of tea and a chat with you up here at Ellis's Hill Farm.

We are still able to supply  sausages, bacon and eggs. We also have a few cuts of pork (subject to availability). Arrangements for making orders and collecting produce are detailed in our post below dated 26th March.  Please do not hesitate to contact us on the numbers provided on that post if there is anything we can do. We will try to help if at all possible.

We hope to see all again at some time in the not too distant future, in the meantime, Happy Easter!

Customer Information and Advice

These are difficult times for all of us. Last week we took the decision to close the tearoom and limit contact with our customers. We still have available a limited amount of stock on a daily basis. We have sausages, bacon and some port joints at present. Supplies of eggs are limited. We are very keen to help our customers get through this crisis.

It is very important to us that we ensure that our staff and customers Stay Safe

We are currently Vacuum Packing sausages, and bacon. This is a sealed packaging process, which keeps the meat in good condition but equally important, it allows customers to wash the packs before opening them thereby minimising the risk of transferring the virus. We will also be freezing products after packaging so as to extend their availability.

Customers can make orders over the telephone or through our Facebook page. We will then prepare the orders for collection from the farm gate. Payments can be made by BACS in order to minimise contact. Our opening hours remain the same, Wednesday to Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM. (We are not opening on Sundays during the crisis) On arrival at the farm gate please sound your car horn, ring the bell or simply call out and we will come out. If by any chance you get no response call (07795) 010820.

Please remember the social distancing rules and keep a safe distance from our staff and other people.

In this way we hope to ensure that we continue to serve our loyal customers whilst caring for the safety of everyone.

If you are one of the people who are self isolating and have nobody to collect  produce for you please contact us and we will try to assist you with a home delivery if possible.

Saturday 7th March at Wysipig

Well Spring is almost here and winter hasn't gone yet, some daffodils are already in bloom and the weather looked promising yesterday, a little gloomy today at first but lets keep our fingers crossed for sunshine later! Anyhow don't worry about the weather come and see us here at Wysipig. Kevin will be serving pulled pork rolls, tea, coffee  and cakes. He will have all his usual pork products on offer as well.

There's now loads of interesting jolly junk, collectables and second-hand bits and pieces and gifts on sale in the shop. This year things will be changing a bit so keep an eye on the blog to see where we're going. We are planning to do a bigger selection of weekend eats altogether customers to stay a little longer. Also we have a selection of traditional games for you to play while you are are enjoying your tea, coffee and snacks.

Why not pop in and see us on Saturday and have a pulled pork roll or warm up with a hot drink. The sun is out but its still a bit chilly. 

New for this month we have some traditional board games for customers to play whilst enjoying drinks and snacks. We also have a range of 'Jolly Junk' for sale, secondhand bits and pieces and collectables that you will be able to browse through. 


 Kevin will have his wonderful sausages, bacon and pork on sale.
