Christmas Order Day December 8th

Well here we are again, Christmas open day at Wysipig is here.  It is time to make sure that you have your Christmas order in. Why not pop up and see Kevin and order your turkey, gammon and some of Kevin's lovely sausages ( the sage and onion and chestnut flavour is simply delicious!!!)

As usual you can join us for lunchtime  pulled pork rolls or simply tea and cakes.

November Open Day & First Pre Christmas Event

November Open Day - Christmas Taster

It seems a little odd to be promoting Christmas already especially this weekend when we are all remembering those who gave their lives in the First World War which ended exactly 100 years ago.

However traditionally we have always launched at Christmas programme on the second Saturday of November and already many of our customers have been asking about what's on offer this year at Arborfields oldest farm shop.

Now that bonfire night is out of the way most of the big stores have been broadcasting their Christmas adverts for 2018. Now it's our turn, Wysipig at Ellis's Hill Farm is getting ready to put all of its Christmas goodies on display. But you simply don't have to take a chance on what you buy because this Saturday, 10th November you  have the opportunity to come up and taste some of our Christmas offerings, you can try our wonderful turkeys, gammons both smoked and green and of course our exciting range of seasonal sausages. Kevin Turner our master butcher will be revealing his Christmas flavours for this year, already he has told some customers that he will again be making his sage and onion and chestnut speciality (much too many customers relief as it has been a true favourite in the past a true favourite!)

Besides trying the samples we are have a full list of products available for Christmas and customers will be able to put in their orders on the day or of course go back home to think about it and call or email us later. As usual we will be offering a free delivery service. Kevin will be able to give you all the advice you need to help make your Christmas day meal really special and wow your guests with local food from Arborfield's oldest farm shop.

Besides Christmas specials we will have our usual pulled pork rolls available for lunch as well as cakes and teas at our ‘Original Woodland Tearoom’ in The Coombes.

We are located on the B3030, the Sindlesham Road halfway between Winnersh and Arborfield, look for the big yellow farm shop signs at the bottom of our track.

October Open Day

Farm Shop Special Day

 Well it really is October the weather is now very autumnal, strong winds yesterday and then we wake up to heavy rain! But as we put the tables and chairs out for today's event things look a bit brighter the sun has come out, the clouds have all but vanished. and actually it's a quite bit warmer than one would expect out there, a great day for a walk looking for sweet chestnuts and conkers.

Then afterwards why not join us at the farm shop for coffee, tea, bacon baps, or even indulge for lunch with one of Kevin's wonderful pulled pork rolls.

 We don't like to be talking about Christmas before bonfire night has been gone but Kevin has been working on his list of unique sausage flavours for this years offering. Come and have a chat with him about it and if you've got your own favourite recipes let him know and he might just will make some. The Christmas taster day is the November special which is on Saturday the 10th. We will have samples of our turkey, gammons, sausages and all of the other  favourite Christmas goodies that we do.

Farm Shop Special

Well what a summer we are having. Dawn to dusk sunshine, helps us forget all those months of prolonged rainfall.  We are enjoying all the great things that are going on, Henley Regatta and Festival, the RAF's hundredth anniversary, Goodwood Festival, and oh so much more! If you're looking for something a little quieter then why not pop along and see us today. Things at the farm shop are ticking along as usual and Kevin is there breakfast baps, pulled pork rolls, teas, cold drinks and ice creams. June Open Day

June Farm Shop Special Day

Well it's nearly mid summer. We've had sunshine in abundance, storms and rain over the past couple of months and today it's cooled off after the humid conditions of yesterday.

Why not come and join us for a lunchtime snack, we have wonderful pulled pork rolls, cakes and teas. Kevin has his range of pork products as well as his famous sausages. He will be able to help with goodies for the BBQ.

  Monthly Farm Shop Special  

Well after all that rain we have at last I have had a spell in glorious sunshine,  everything is is green and the ground is at last starting to dry out.

Why not join us today for our monthly farm shop special, come up and have lovely pulled pork roll or just team cakes. Kevin will have some of his wonderful sausages and other pork products. it's a great day to blow off the cobwebs and have a quick stroll through the woods you may still Some of the bluebells an summer flowers are starting to come out.

Well welcome to a New Year at Wysipig. Are you looking for something that is this Saturday? Then why not start your new years resolution by joining us. the weather looks as though it's going to be a little murky but don't worry bring your wellies for a walk round the woods and then throw caution to the wind and join us for one of Kevin's delicious roast pork rolls for lunch. Besides this he will have sausages and bacon available or if you're determined simply to start the diet simply enjoy a cup of tea in good company.
